ONE CONNECTED APPROACH
Three perspectives. One material challenge.
A reactor defines the environment. Chemistry defines the reaction. Simulation helps explain the result. Our intended solution areas bring these perspectives together.

THE SCIENCE BEHIND THE LAYERS
Control begins at the surface.
ALD separates reactant exposures with purge steps. Under suitable conditions, each exposure saturates available surface sites. Repeating the cycle builds a film whose growth depends on chemistry and process conditions.
A diffusion–reaction study, supported by zinc oxide experiments, examines how lower growth per cycle can improve penetration into high-aspect-ratio structures. A useful reminder to optimize conformality alongside growth rate.
Researchers use localized, self-limiting deposition to build a ZnS / Sb₂S₃ / V₂O₅ stack for functional solar cells. The work explores direct patterning as a route to more flexible photovoltaic prototyping.

An author-reported study of amorphous TaP on SiO₂ investigates unusual thickness-dependent transport and surface conduction. Its potential for interconnects still needs assessment beyond the reported experiments.
